b

When should I replace the air conditioner's filter?

The suggested frequency is once a month in the dusty Arizona desert for air filter replacement. This is second most important thing you as a homeowner can do to enhance the air quality in your home and to extend the life of your HVAC system. The first is having your system serviced for regular maintenance.

Are there any advantages to setting my thermostat fan to "ON" so the fan runs constantly?

Yes, there are a couple of advantages. The first is that you get constant filtering of the air. The second is since the air is constantly moving, there is a consistent temperature throughout the house. However, during the monsoon season, when it's humid, continuous fan mode may not be efficient and then it is recommended that the fan be used in AUTO mode.
